Want a free copy of my book “Why? Because Science”?

Yesterday, I announced the launch date – 1st December – for my first ever book. Now, as a powerful drive to set this book up for success on the international market, I NEED your help.

If you send me your email address (here or privately to thea.beckman@gmail.com) I’ll send you a FREE electronic copy of my book 10 days before the book launch – that’s next Wednesday 22nd November. In return, all I ask is that you share my book’s link in Amazon to your social media channels (the more the better) and write a review on Amazon.

Many people have insisted on paying for my book, which is wonderful – thank you – but for the first few weeks or so, the book will be listed for free as a way to encourage downloads so that Amazon’s search engines will take notice and say: “Holy crap, this book is popular! Let’s push it to the top of the list!”

With your help, promotion on social media, and positive reviews, we’ll put Why? Because Science! in the best possible position to become a bestseller in its category. This is the ultimate goal and if you can become a part of helping me achieve that, I’ll be so incredibly grateful!

So send me your emails, y’all and I’ll put you on my pre-release list!

Count Down to Book Launch!

Hello minions!

It’s been many moons – hundreds, in fact – since last I posted on this blog site. Many of you have rightly asked if I’m still alive. The good news is that I am indeed still alive. Why then the resounding year-and-a-half-long silence? I have a great excuse, I promise:

I have been writing the official Why? Because Science book! Here’s a sneak peak at the provisional cover… Why- Because Science (2).jpgIn just over two weeks’ time – on the 1st December 2017 – I will be launching it on Amazon. To begin with, the book will be in kindle/electronic format only. Once I have raised the necessary funds, I’ll be able to launch a print-to-order enterprise, which means hard copies! It’s a step-by-step process that’s utterly terrifying and satisfying at the same time. Very much like nipple clamps.

Keep an eye on this space and thank you so much for your loyalty over the years!

How To Instantly Guess Someone’s Age

As we age, certain things happen to our primary senses. By testing this ability, you can instantly guess just how old someone is! I won’t say too much more than that, because the video explains it beautifully…

How To “Shut Off” a Cat According to Science

If your cat is anything like mine, for one hour of the day (every day) and for NO apparent reason, it will take supreme pleasure in tearing up your couches, running from one end of the apartment to the other and generally acting like a drug-crazed hippie at a trance party. The other 23 hours of the day it’ll spend sleeping and being anti-social. So, it’s when your cat sinks into its daily delirium that you can make use of the following nifty trick called “clipnosis” – the official way to hit your cats “off” button, according to science!

Lava + Ice = Scrambled Eggs From Hell

Two men – a geologist and an artist – get it into their noggins to see what happens when you pour molten rock (lava) onto a sheet of ice. Both lava and ice constitute extremely resilient and powerful forces of nature and the results of this experiment you’ve GOT to see!

Earth 2.0 – Plan B for Mankind

Looks like there might just be a Plan B for when we eventually gas ourselves out of our own planet or those apocalyptic zombie films finally make good on their promise to obliterate mankind. Astronomers have discovered a planet that – upon preliminary investigation – would appear to be so similar to our own that there’s a very real possibility it could be fit for human habitation. This comes as great news, because by the time we are forced to move planets (and the technology for interstellar travel has been invented), local asteroid-defeating hero, Bruce Willis, will be long dead. Hooray for Plan B!
